 We've
had an amazing weekend up here in the Smokies. We arrived
on Friday just as the sun was setting over the horizon. What
an incredible view! When I woke up the next day I was impressed
by how we seemed to be right in the middle of the Smoky Mountain
wilderness. Being a city-slicker myself I really enjoy being
able to get away into the mountains a couple of times a year.
This was my first time visiting Tennessee and I certainly
wasn't disappointed. The Smoky Mountains are a little different
than any other mountain range region I've visited. The Rockies
and the Smoky Mountains are my two favorite locations to vacation
in.
While this was my second time into Tennessee it was the first
time I've stayed in a log cabin. I'd say this definitely beats
staying in a hotel in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. That was
fun too. But these cabins give you the wilderness experience
as well as easy access to the entertainment in the local cities
here. I was surprised by how short a drive it was into Sevierville
from here. Sevierville was nice. Plenty of attractions to
check out but not as busy as Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Anyway,
just wanted to say that this has been a great experience overall
and that I hope I get a chance to do it again before long.

We've had almost a week up here in the Smoky Mountains and
yet the time has flown by all too quickly. This log cabin
rental has definitely been a big part of the fun we've had
here in Tennessee. I've stayed in mountain cabins before but
those cabins were nothing like this one! I'd say this is more
like a personal Smoky Mountain lodge! The rooms are huge and
the wide screen TV and games room kept us occupied on the
day when the weather outside wasn't so great. So thanks for
the cabin rental. It sure is beautiful. We'll be back!

I'm writing for the Jackson family. We've spent a few days
here to celebrate our first family reunion in something like
five years. We're all pretty much in agreement that this reunion
was the best of all. Part of that is due to the fact that
our kids are a little more independent now. But a big part
of the success of this reunion has been the lodging we've
enjoyed in this Pigeon Forge cabin rental. What an amazing
cabin!
There was plenty of room for us all to stay here; which is
saying something considering there are 25 of us here! The
kids had a ton of fun in the games room while we adults loved
relaxing and chatting with a glass of wine in the deck-side
hot tub. Of course the views of the Smoky Mountains are something
else! I could stare out at this horizon for weeks on end.
Our time here has come and gone so quickly. Oh well, we'll
be back for our next family reunion in a couple of years.
I plan to make sure that next time around we stay in a Smoky
Mountain cabin again!

 Our
family has always enjoyed coming to the Smoky Mountains for
our family vacations. We love the scenery of the mountains
themselves and we appreciate the charm and hospitality of
the Tennessee locals. The staff at Sugar Maple Cabins are
a good example of that hospitality. We’ve rented one
of these Pigeon Forge cabins on two separate occasions and
both times we really appreciated the professionalism of the
customer service people. This time we booked almost at the
last minute and we still got a very reasonable deal.
This time around we made two daytrips into Gatlinburg. Last
time we spent most of our time in Sevierville and Pigeon Forge
and had a great time. But we were just as impressed with Gatlinburg.
The architecture of the city made us feel like we were in
Europe! We also picked up a painting by one of your Smoky
Mountain artists. We’re going to hang in over our mantelpiece
when we get home!
Anyway, this trip has been a great experience; as was the
last one. It was great to be able to make daytrips into town
but spend our evenings in the Smokies in this beautiful log
cabin. There’s nothing that compares to seeing the sun
first rise over these majestic mountains from the deck of
a Tennessee cabin with a hot mug of coffee in hand! Like I
said, this was our second time in the Smokies and we’re
hoping to be back sometime next fall. Thanks again for the
memories.

We stayed in "Beneath the Smoky Stars" March 10th
and 11th, and has a wonderful time. The cabin is very spacious
and beautifully decorated. Even though we had 26 people, we
never felt cramped or closed in. Thank you so much for such
